http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/11/27/obit.taylor/index.html

This is a sad, sad day for the Washington Redskins and Sean Taylor fans. My heartfelt condolences to Sean's family and friends.

I hope they find the son of a b**** who did this soon. They were saying on the news that it looked almost like a preplanned act and that it wasn't a robbery. I guess his house was broken into twice around November 17th and 18th. Another sad day in the NFL... RIP Sean Taylor

RIP Sean.....

Poor guy. Never was a huge fan of football, but I liked the Redskins. Also, I hope the bad guy gets whats coming to him.

May his family recover in due time.

what really sucks is not one person on the team, coaching staff or from his neighborhood have one bad thing to say about him...they all agree he was probably one of the nicest, most humble, hard working guys they ever knew.

And he has an 18 month old baby. Maybe it's because I'm in the DC area, but this really, really hits home. When channel 9 news was reporting it earlier, the newscaster choked up and I almost started to cry myself. It really is a tragedy.

you never hear anyone say something bad about a person after they die. I just wonder if this has anything to do with him threatening someone with a gun a year ago. that was the first thing I thought of when I heard the news is that someone breaks into his house, and goes directly towards his bedroom and fires off a couple shots.

The people he "threatened" were stealing his ATV's. But yeah, it has been suggested that there may be a connection.

1. I'll break that tradition.
2. I have no clue who Sean Taylor is, so I guess I don't have a right or a privelage to say anything to benefit his rep or completely crush it.
3. If he's one of those actors I'd like to remind you that hero worship is unhealthy.
4. Though I don't know or really care about any of them I do still give my regards and my condolences to his friends and family as it is not easy to lose a loved one.

(Yes I'm blunt and uncaring but at least I'm not completely heartless)

Taylor was the safty for the Washington Redskins. He was pretty good, but his reputation was for hitting people HARD whenever they came into his area.
